Use existing win10 activasion in a fresh win10 install

Fenni02

Hello there. I recently bought a new ssd and I want to move the OS onto that. I was wondering if I can do a fresh install of windows 10 on the ssd and use my old activation on the new ssd? Is that possible?

Thanks in advance :)

Just reinstall, it'll activate automatically because the license is bound to your motherboard, not to the disk ;)

if it doesnt activate, just activate it manually again with the same keys

side note: u have to quote the person you're replying to get their attention
