Posted August 7, 2018 So i have a quite a stupid question, when i turned off my pc for a long time, why does my GPU fan not working automatically at any temp? And like, i have to operate it manually or move the slider at a higher percentage for it to work and, when i turn off my pc for a short time, the fan starts to work in a little while, why is it like that? Posted August 7, 2018 Some GPUs have what's called a stay off, unless it's HOT feature. In such case you'll see the fans spin up during boot-up and during 5mins+ of gameplay. This is to keep operations smooth until you hit 40 - 70% useage. Can't be sure if that's the issue for you but, I got nervous a few years back when I discovered this with my card.
