2700x new cooler

Greetings all

 

Im thinking of replacing the stock AMD cooler on my 2700x

my case is a bequiet silent base 800, 2x140 front 1x120 bottom intakes and 1x140 top 1x120 rear exaust

im not planing on any overclocking

 

im looking at the bequiet dark rock 4 pro or similar dual tower coolers

please dont tell me that cooler is overkill, i like it cool and quiet

 

thoughts? comments? questions?

heck yeah go ahead 

the only thing to look out for is if the cooler fits in your case because it's quite tall

i've got a dark rock pro 3 and it doesn't fit in many cases(i learn't it the hard way)

The PH-TC14PE and NH-D15 are similarly sized and both fit and perform a bit better than the DRP4. That being said, the DRP4 is the quietest of the 3.
