Hi! I am currently running a half decent setup and i am wondering about getting a new gpu. I cant play Overwatch at max settings with my 144hz screen. Should i get a new gpu? And in that case with one? 

 

Specs:

CPU: I7 7700k

GPU: Gainward 970 (not phantom)

Cooler: Kraken x52

Ram: 16 gb 2133 mhz

 

I am running 3 screen setup.

I would wait. Rumor is Nvidia is announcing next gen GPUs on August 20th.

Wait a month for announcements, the next GTX series is coming out, then you can aim for a 1080, maybe a 1080Ti if you can afford it.

Don't buy anything. It's a decent card and Nvidia is about to reveal a new architecture shortly.

Yeah that what i planned to do. But i am not quite sure if i buy the new GTX 11 series or just a 1080

Depends on what you want to spend. So far rumors point to a $200 premium over last gen.

Havent decided yet. Hoping to not spending too much but u know. I want a card that would last and a good one so it probably have to be expensive.

Basically, a 1180/2080 whatever, will set you back over $700. So y'know.
