Help with getting a new case

Biggie_Cheese
Go to solution Solved by Gedgn,

Look at a Meshify C or since you want a dvd tray look at the Phanteks Pro M (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811854042) both are fantastic for airflow, while the Phanteks is a little quieter.

I love recommending this case because it certainly is a diamond in the ruff and as another member of this forum said doesn't get the recognition it deserves :)

I recently got into pc gaming and dont really know much but i wanted to get a new case, but the problem is i dont know if my parts will fit.

Specs

Mobo:760gm-p34(fx)

Graphics:Asus GTX 750 ti

Lg super multi DvD writer

Model GH24NSCO

Im looking for a case thats has small holes since I live in a apartment that tends to have small bugs and i dont want them to invade my pc. Im on a budget so the least i could spend is 200$.

I think no modern cases have DVD trays plus 200€ is not budget and you should look to upgrade your GPU with that money

Best & worst cases for your money in 2018 are:

Best Cases overall

I) Fractal Design Meshify C - Airflow and relatively quiet, best all around case

I) Phanteks Enthoo Pro M / Special Edition (white interior) - Airflow & full water cooling support

I) Fractal Define R6 - Silent with decent airflow

I) Be Quiet! DB 900 (Full Tower) - Airflow and silent

I) Fractal Design Meshify C mini (mATX)

I) Corsair 400C - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Phanteks 350X - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Fractal Design Focus G

Cases that may be worth your money

I) Thermaltake G21 - GPU and CPU cooling issues, modest tweaking
I) Silverstone RL06 / Pro - Mustard/Ketchup wires, Shitty cable management, Poor front radiator support, useless psu filter, stupid ssd layout
I) In Win 303

I) Coolermaster H500 no suffix - if 200mm fans are your thing

I) NZXT H700 non "i" version - Needs to come down in price to be worth it

I) Corsair Carbide 100R - Suitable for low end builds

The worst cases - Do Not Buy

I) NZXT S340/Elite, H500, H440 (everything except the H700) Reason: Poor airflow
I) Coolermaster Masterbox 5

Majority of cases on the market

I looked at the Phanteks Pro M and it looks pretty good but I was wondering if this case might work if not then ill just get the Phanteks. Also, thanks for the help I appreciate it.

It's a really good case, but it's bland as far as aesthetics goes, if you care about aesthetics. Also space if you plan to use AIOs or radiators you won't have many options. And you are limited to 120mm fans which are noisy depending on the brand and 200mm fans which are expensive if you want to upgrade those.

You get a rebate with Phanteks as well.

That case will definitely work, however it's an older case and a bit "cheap" feeling compared to what is offered today at it's price point (less plastic, more steel, and now large side windows)
