Hi guys. I made/setup a HTPC for the downstairs T.V but i'm having some problems. When i hookup my gaming rig to the T.V and set it to 1920X1080 it works fine when i hookup my HTPC with the GT 430 it seems to stretch past the borders of the T.V if you know what i mean.

The text also looked really bad and pixelated at high resolutions and the lower the resolution i go the better it gets but it still remains slightly outside the border of the actual T.V screen. I haven't fiddled around with it too much (planning on doing that tonight) but i'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about this, Thanks.

I belive there is a setting in the Nvidia controll panel for adjusting the fill of the screen, I had the same problem as you and manage to fix it in the amd control panel. If that doen't work see if you can adjust your tv screen:)

Thanks man. There was a option to manually stretch screen size that i didn't notice before. For some reason anything other than it's "native" resolution (1280 x Something) the text appears pixelated and everything just looks bad. I know the T.V's resolution is 1920x1080 for sure but as it is everything looks great so i can't complain.

Is the resolutions are the same its likely the tv set the aspect ratio to screen fit or at least thats what its called on a samsung, basically its 100% picture. The reason its setup that way currently is from the analog erra where overscan was bilt into the image. That still applies today if you have a rear projection tv.
