How to make harddrive formatable for Windows 10 fresh instal?

Im trying to put windows 10 onto a hardrrive but it says its not compatible becuase the selected disk is gpt partition style, how do i fix this

It is being reused and i formatted it in the windows 10 setup and it stilll doesnt work

did you delete the partitions or only format it

I have deleted the partition and it still wont work

I have just deleted the partition and when i click new and put in the alotted space, i still cant click next even after i reformat it

i'll be honest i don't have a windows 10 install media to follow you along , but essentially if the drive has no partitions at all it should work , maybe try partitioning/formatting the disk first before the install?

Get into the Windows Recovery Menu, click on advanced options, go to command prompt, type in diskpart, then type in list disk to see which one your HDD is (probably disk 0) then type in select disk (number) then type in clean. reboot your computer and BOOM! Windows 10 is gone and your disk is clean.
