Posted August 3, 2018 I don't care about voiding warranty or anything, I don't plan on taking advantage of the warranty. I've been reading and people are basically saying to put older BIOS on the z370 mobo to back date the BCLK??? Can someone please explain to me how to do this? Posted August 3, 2018 Once upon a time I remember rumors z170 motherboards (which did have this feature) were going to be compatible with coffeelake, but I don't think that ever came to be, nor were any early development bioses leaked anywhere. Intel kinda locked that down early on with Skylake, so you couldn't even do this with Kaby Lake CPUs, which needed bios updates regardless. So I'm pretty sure unlocked base clocks on coffeelake are out entirely. But it'd be cool if someone discovered it.
