Hi everyone. I recently built an all used pc. Ever since I installed OS (Windows 10), it keeps randomly freezing, usually while sitting in chrome, but it did happen once just as I logged in. It hasn't frozen at all while gaming or doing something more resource consuming.

My specs:

CPU - i5 750, cooled by a hyper 212 evo, temps at full load below 60C, not overclocked

Mobo - Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3

Ram - Kingston Savage 2400mhz, currently running at 1333mhz, due to low base clock

Psu - Cooler master GX650w 80+bronze

Storage - Radeon R3 120GB ssd, two seagate HDDs 750gb in RAID 0

GPU - Sapphire r9 280x 3gb

OS - Genuine Windows 10 64bit

Nothing is overclocked.

Ty in advance

Check to make sure windows is up to date and that all the drivers are up to date first, I have seen a lot of problems fixed by this. A cmos clear could help but keep in mind that if you are using an onboard raid controller like intel rapid storage technology you will have to go back into the bios and change it back to raid mode from ahci

Motherboard has the newest available bios. Windows is fully up to date. There are no drivers for this motherboard on windows 10, so I haven't installed any of them. In device manager everything is detected. I'm pretty sure the bios settings are fine. My raid is connected through the p55 express chipset, and I have disabled the Gigabyte Sata2, just in case.
