8gb ram with ssd or 16gb ram no ssd ?

8gb is enough, you can always add another 8gb in the future. but don't get the M12, it's old as dirt and missing protections. look for a corsair CX instead.

That is the oddest question...lol It's like going shopping and asking if you need a new tire or eggs.

 

No SSD will make your system feel hella slow. Ram is something you KNOW you need based off what you typically do.
