Hulu Outages?

I signed up for a free trial of Hulu today to see if it would be worth switching from Netflix as it has quite a large number of shows I'm interested in. However, I can't seem to be able to connect from my PC or any of my devices (login page doesn't load at all). Are these outages common with Hulu? If that's the case, I'll probably reconsider.

From my experiences I've never seen those kinds of outages from Hulu so it might just be something that just happened.

Kind of odd it happened as I signed up. I wondered if T-Mobile had something to do with it, though I've no other network to check (not to mention everything else like Netflix still works), and the mobile app itself also can't connect.

I'm going to try rebooting my phone. I can get to the login page on a different phone (same carrier), but I can't do so on either my own device, or anything connected to it via hotspot. The only other thing I can think of is if Hulu just doesn't want anything to do with a device with custom ROM, but there's no way they could check that, especially if I'm using a Windows device through the hotspot.

Outages aren't common, however I have issues with apps needing to be signed in after every update and Hulu rejecting the correct password until I go through the whole "I forgot my password" bullshit.

Well, rebooting my device worked, and I can access Hulu through my tethered PC now. In the classic Linus fashion, as soon as the question is posted, you find the fix yourself right after.

 

I'm rather disappointed however, by the lack of old Simpsons seasons on Hulu. That was literally half the reason I wanted to check it out. Hope the other series' I'm looking at aren't carved up in such fashion.
