Issue with PC/Powersupply

So I have an issue for over 6 month. When I start my Pc and do the normal stuff like gaming browsing my Pc eventually restarts and then its normal again. The wierd thing about it Its not because that I start a game and its to stressfull it just happens anytime.

If your wondering my Pc allready had a problem with the powersupply but I just changed it and everything was normal again. But after Half a year that happend

Forgot to Mention: If I let it run for a minute and restart it by myself its allright

 

Componets:

Amd fx6300

gtx palit 960 2gb

Hdd 1b

Thermaltake 530w Hamburg

8gb ram

 

ps: Pls quick help appreciate it

Perhaps you could check Windows Event Viewer after it shuts off? It might have some info as to what caused the crash.

 

That psu is pretty low end though. I wouldn't be super surprised if it's the issue. That being said having issues after half a year would be strange.

Sounds more like a software thing. You could try using DDU to remove the graphics drivers and then reinstalling them. Reinstalling windows could also be an option but that's a bit time consuming.

Try another PSU.

That is a good sign for capacitors dying...

Thermaltake Hamburg isn't a particularly good PSU anyway...

What exactly is it that makes it a sign of caps dying? I'm not super familiar with the signs of dying PSUs

That it works after a "Warm Up Phase" is a good sign of caps dying and the PSU being on the edge.

i dont actually now just happend going to upgradet my system soon and adding a ssd

so probably going to refresh my pc

but I'm scared that my psu going crazy again

should the refresh thing be enough or should I buy a new one to be secure
