Windows 10 Stop Overheating Notifications

boey

Hello, so recently I have been facing temp issues on my cpu and gpu(which i plan to fix with an aio instead of intel’s stock cooler), but now Windows 10 is reminding me every 2-10 seconds that ‘Your CPU is exceeding 80C and blah blah’ How do I stop this? I know the te’p is high but its annoying to have windows tell me every 2 seconds.

Windows won't tell you this information, it's coming from somewhere else.

Start by looking at the software your monitoring temps with.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

That's not a Windows feature. It's some piece of software you installed yourself or that came with the system (if it's a prebuilt). Close that software or uninstall it to get rid of it.

Ok, I solved it. I think NZXT CAM was the culprit.
