Newegg first computer purchase

I placed a order with newegg and was promptly informed that my purchase was voided. Ok... so i call them they say its my bank and i need to call them so i do. Then i get told i need to rais my limit so i do. First order was saturday i fix the billing come monday i am promped with purchase voided. Ok.... well lets give them a call. I get told they will honnor orignal price place the order and get refunded the difference. So i do around 4 on monday after noon. Well at 5 i was sent an email account suspended no way to talk to anyone had to wait till the next day and i am asking why they tell me nothing and no money showed up in my acount for the refund so i am worried. Which leads me to the next day they said place the order again and they will cover the difference and 2 day shipping im like awesome how nice but wait there is more i get another email after placeing the order again saying its voided yet again. Has anyone else had a bad time with newegg like this? All my friends and family have never had this issue. @Newegg_Support

They take a very hard stance once the account is suspended and just plain won't do anything about it.

Though if there's money on the line, I suggest contacting your card issuer and sending all the emails of the exchange as supporting evidence to get your money back.

 

They also have a support account here.

Try PMing them @Newegg_Support. I tagged them so they should see this.

They seemed more helpful than regular support staff was in my case.

Okay thank you and so far i have gotten my money back and am going to purchase it thru an alternate vender and never buying from them again and they do not even tell you why it is

Yeah, that is what I ended up doing. They don't seem to understand that "just make a new account with a new email" is NOT a satisfactory answer.

Yea and having to purchase an item 5 times and still probably not get it leaves me pissed

That is really unacceptable when they can't give a decent answer, Newegg's refund and return process could be really improved though. They refused the standard return process of a motherboard that got damaged in shipping,even though it was newegg's fault for not packing it well enough. I had to call their support and wait for them to make a claim with the shipping carrier. Yet Newegg accepted a motherboard with the ethernet port dead out of the box when I was helping a friend build a system.

I have had no issues buying from Newegg. The issue you are dealing with is your bank.
