Reset loop on computer

Im building an i5 2500k, 8gb ram , gtx 1050, with a 550w fatality ocz psu on an asus p8b75-v. I have plugged in psu power, mobo power and all the front pannel connectors but im in a fans spinning then turning off loop.

Please help

Remove your GPU.

 

If you have more than one stick of RAM, use one at a time and test all your slots and all your sticks.

Is your CPU fan plugged into the CPU_FAN header?

When i press the power switch the power led flashes for a second then turns off.

The cpu fan is plugged into the fan header.

I've tried with both sticks of ram in and only one, with no pgu in, still reboot loop.

Does the cpu power cable look like a 6+2 connector but its just an 8pin?
