Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my PC. I have owned it for almost a year and now I'm having a problem. My monitor keeps saying "no input detected" when I power on my PC. I tried using both DVI and HDMI cables and the problem persists. I know my monitor is not the problem because when I connect it to my laptop with an HDMI cable the monitor works. I have tried using the HDMI ports on my GPU and motherboard and the problem still occurs. I also tried disconnecting the GPU and reconnecting it and the same thing happens. My GPU, motherboard, RAM, and fans are all on and running however. Any suggestions on how to fix this or what I should do?

My PC specs are:

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700

Motherboard: ASUS Prime X370-PRO

GPU: ASUS ROG Strix 1050 Ti  OC

Memory: Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5 in. SSD

PSU: Corsair RM 650x

Case: S340 Elite (white)

RAM: G.Skill Trident RGB 4x8 GB (32 GB)

You can't use the ports on the back of your motherboard; the R7-1700 has no iGPU.

Do you have and another video card that you can try (e.g. old one, or borrow from a friend)?

Here is a chance the GTX 1050 Ti might have just failed...

At least with another video card, you will know if the problem is REALLY with the GTX 1050 Ti, or the problem is caused by something else.

Make sure your power supply can power on a system, such as a friend's.

I've seen power supplies turn on fans, LEDs, and drives with no problem but not actually power on the system itself, resulting in fans spinning, lights turning on, but no display output no matter what.

This has happened to be before, I removed the gpu and put it back in and it worked. But you've already tried that so what I would do is make sure all the cables going into the MOBO are seated properly. (I'm assuming the PC turns on.)

Yes, the PC turns on. I tried a different HDMI cable also but this didn't do anything.

This is exactly what is happening, the RGB on my RAM, LED strips, and CPU cooler all light up.

Hey @Crunchy Dragon I just noticed that the RGB on my exhaust case fan at the back of my case, along with my RGB's on my motherboard are the only lights not turning on in my system when I press the power button. My case fan is a cooler master air balance 120mm fan, and is connected to my motherboards addresable RGB header for connection through ASUS Aura Sync. Does this mean that the problem is my motherboard? If so, how do I fix this or do I need a new motherboard?

Thanks for the advice, very few of my friends play PC (cause their all uncultured swines, and they think console is better) so it'll be difficult for me to check with their GPU's. I will probably send my GPU in for warranty, if there is a problem they will send me a new one. If there isn't, does that mean it is a motherboard problem?
