Hello all. New to building PC's. Looking for a good PC that can play AAA video games on ultra graphics, and accomplish strenuous tasks like having many tabs and windows open simultaneously. I've built a starter build. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I would not get corsair fans with a NZXT case, since the NZXT cases have a little hub for the rgb, if you just buy NZXT rgb fans, it will be much easyer to have rgb installed

The rest seems fine, some parts are a bit overkill, but if that is what you want go for it

Did what I could do bring price down while at the very least maintaining overall performance though storage suffered, and it is now less RGB.

Mouse has lower price, more programmable buttons. Keyboard has the same switches and does RGB, SSD benches better than original choice but is lower capacity, ram is lower cost and approx equivalent performance, GPU costs less and should cool just about as well, 240MM AIO because cost, case switch, PSU switch, mobo switch. Smaller monitor at same res and refresh for 2/3rds price. Higher PPI so that's a win, right?

Switching to 8600k brought it into budget. :/ https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/ppKsmq

Difficult to cut more than 25% out of a budget while retaining same performance. This build sacrifices a little bit in various areas. The biggest loss is overclocking. For a first build I don't consider that a big loss. The cpu at all but idle has clocks just 100MHz lower than a stock i7-8700K.

All of the RGB components, (including the case), are Aura Sync so they can be synchronized through the motherboard.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Thank you for the recommendation. Will likely be going with this. Nothing is incompatible or will bottleneck anything else, right?
