Posted July 17, 2018 The only way to equip a gpu to the thinkpad is by keeping it completely open and attaching an egpu to the mini pcie slot. It’s honestly not worth the trouble and sacrifice of laptop mobility, I’d reccomend just building a desktop since you have $400. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Depends how far you’re willing to go for a good deal, buying new parts will get you a good pc, bidding on ebay auctions will you better, and craigslist/scrapyard shopping will get you the best deal(though I don’t really reccomend this route for a new person as it is time consuming and is hard.)
