Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon won't power on

dionkoffie

Hi,

I've got a Lenovo X1 Carbon that's brand new and only used for Windows installation. However when I try to power it up nothing happens. The system doesn't power on, no LEDs light up or fans start spinning. Checked the power supply and tried another one. It's not the power supply that's faulty.

I have no idea what could be wrong with it. I haven't taken it apart yet. I think the module that deals with the power might be broken. Anyone got any ideas?
