FE has terrible, noisy cooling. My 1070 FTW2 (i assume has the same cooler as yours) is the exact opposite.

Generally you don't buy Founders' Edition cards unless you're replacing the shroud for use in custom watercooling PCs, blower styles are notorious for being a lot louder and hotter than custom shroud graphics cards. So the FTW2 will do much nicer in gaming particularly in temperatures.

Founders edition cards are to be avoided as their cooling solutions are hot and noisy.
