Meshify C Upon arrival inspection

Go to solution Solved by Howitz,

Fractal sent my a whole other front panel assembly including the mesh filter, with only a stripped screw on the inside of the front panel but there are also pins to hold it, so i'll keep this one this time! Good job fractal and thank you!

Good cases, always a little thing to trigger your OCD... And no i did'nt break the front mesh handle pin myself.. it was this way upon arrival.

Do you guys receive you fractal cases perfect or do they all have little annoying stuff like that? My Define S have a twisty panel too. I know they are meant to be inexpensive and that may be why its this way...

I may just be really picky and perfectionnist or just unlucky.

RMA it. That usb drive with the white stuff in it also looks slightly crushed. It's one thing to be picky and one thing to receive broken hardware.

The Define Mini C was basically flawless when I got it. I cant blame the usb port on shipping, but something tells me your local shipping branches suck

i don't think its shipping... the box was flawless, i dont think its the first thing that would break if the case was thrown around...

I have rma'd my gpu with xfx this month and i have yet to rma my 1350pcflcd cyberpower UPS which battery died after 6 months... Guys i am so unlucky, I'm totally fed up with rma's, they're just gonna send another case my way at this point, there's no way i'm doing another frickin RMA!!!! it cost me 50$ shipping to rma my damn gpu...

To me these are all minor issues, if the usb port works, it's gonna be fine. plus they can always send just the front mesh at some point, but i don't necessarily need them to do it either, only if it break completely and the front mesh becomes impossible to remove or won't hold in place.

I guess theres somes really good plastic glue that exists too. It's just so annoying... like buying a new car that already has a big scratch...

Seems like i'm the unlucky one then =(

So far i only have trouble with pcs. I could never just sit in front of my computer and enjoy it 100% without issue, my current rig that i've just built has unexplained unrecoverable freeze issues... i even rma'd its gpu in hope to fix it. it was'nt the card... but it's related to it... had no freezes during the rx480 rma with xfx while using a gtx560, and started having freezes again with the replacement rx580 they sent me... =(

So now i'm basically fricking fed up of it all and i'm buying all new parts including this case, so i can swap parts to troubleshoot and build a new pc for my little sister... And i still keep having bad luck haha

Anyways, i opened a ticket with Fractal design just to give them some feedback, i'm not asking for anything but i'd like them to know in case there's some shady stuff going on at newegg like them selling refurbished units as new or something... I'm starting to go paranoid over it all xD

I perfectly understand that quality control can fail sometimes, or maybe their quality control standards are lower than my own's :P

nah i feel like i'm done with rma's... its such a hassle getting the good box and all that stuff...

Lol i literally used the meshify c's box today when i received it, to package my Cyberpower CP1350PFCLCD Ups for its rma... that would be like 3 rmas in a month..
