I have an MSI GP62M 7RDX, it has an i7-7700HQ CPU, GTX 1050, and 16GB ram.

i am trying to install OS X high Seira. i have made an install USB using UNIBOOT using a VM instalation of OS X. however when i attempt to boot into it i get to the colver screen and select the install drive and nothing happens.

get linux if you dont want windows and would like to game on the machine. there is no nvidia gtx 1050 graphics driver for macOS because apple does not use gtx 1050 or any current  gen  nvidia graphics card in any of their machine for that matter. your graphics card will be completely useless and i doubt it will even be able to display anything on your monitor, much less using it for graphics intensive applications like gaming. 

 

It really amaze me how some people think they can put together a custom rigs and install hacked macOS on it and think it will just work out of the box. 

 

Also hackingtosh is against the ToS

Sorry but we don't allow for the configuring and setup of hackintosh systems as per Apple's TOS and the forum's CS.
