I've had an issue with my internet dropping out randomly throughout the day for 6 straight months and have contacted my ISP about it so many times but they did nothing to fix it, I've requested technicians to come and check out what the hell is going on but they refused to send anyone. I told them I'm not going to pay for the bills until it gets fixed and they said it's fine, the bills will be put on hold and I will not be charged for anything until the problem is fixed. A month goes by, I get a letter about an outstanding bill and I contact them and explained the situation to 5 different people from different departments and they said just ignore it, the bills will be waived when the issue is resolved... Here we are, 5 months later and they disconnect my services completely and tell me that no promise was ever made to waive my bills and that I now owe them $872... They told me they can see the issue was resolved in the first month and that they canceled the hold on the bill, and that's why it's been racking up................... I'm fucking FUMING to say the least... I saved a chat log where they clearly told me that the bill would be waived and I'm considering suing these fuckers but I don't know how a PDF file will hold up in court, they could just say I wrote it myself... Fucking CUNTS.

First thing go to a lawyer. You also could have threatened them by "leaving" make them believe that you're leaving, because at the end of the day, they don't want to loose a customer. I did this with my previous ISP.

I made that threat when the problem first occurred, and that is when they told me that the charges would be put on hold and then waived when the issue is resolved. I made an escalated complaint, if they cough up some more BS then I'll definitely sue.

May I ask, which ISP is this? Also, as for Chat used for evidence, it's different across different states. (Assuming you're from USA) Again, I'd seek legal advice on this matter. :)

Also, update us on any situation. (unless it client attorney privilege)
