How do I format this drive? Seems I can't

aandril

Bought this drive on ebay.

Referring to DISK 1

Everytime I tried to delete the partitions and extend the volume, it changes it to Dynamic.

The EFI partition cannot be deleted/formatted.

I've tried also using DISKPART CMD to delete and overrride to delete/format.

I want to delete all the parts and make it just one part.

There's also a problem with the whole drive.

Everytime I install windows on it and use it, it goes to up 100% disk usage and slows everything down. I have no idea why.

Hello aandril,

You can try right from the Windows Disk Management, right-click on the system partition  and select "Extend Volume" from the menu. Then specify the amount that you want to increase the partition size. Also for what you are saying it seems to me to be that also the installation programming has something to do in your case, create a different bootable media, it could be USB or CD/DVD and then try another fresh installation again in the same drive.

I've done both of these, as I said in my OP.

Extending the volume changes it into a dynamic disk, which I don't want.

There's no option to delete the EFI part.

I tried using DISKPART CMD to delete the EFI part and used override command, but it doesn't work either.
