I can get either a Mac mini or an iMac for dirt cheap and I was wondering if it would be easier to upgrade the Mac mini or the iMac? Also no, Windows is not an option for the software I have to use.

If you need me to follow up on something, please quote or tag me.

Depends on which model of each, the specs of each, and the cost of each. Assuming the specs are identical on both, I'd personally go with a Mac Mini, but that's because I'm a sucker for SFF PCs. Then again, if you don't have a monitor already, the iMac may be a better buy.
