Computer Wont Turn On

I just built a new PC today. I shut it down and added the LED strip to it and when I turned it one it started and shut down right away almost like it shorted or something.

I did the Power supply test with the paper clip and the power supply fans go off, when I re-connect everything to the MOBO and try power on the computer nothing happens.

 

Please help im scared as I just built this today!

have you tested with only the bare minimum plugged in to test?

the 24 pin connector + cpu connector?

Try without the LED strip plugged in. Also, take the GPU out, keep 1 stick of ram and boot into the BIOS if you can. Try and reset the BIOS by taking the battery out on the motherboard for 5 minutes, or changing the CMOS pins from 1 + 2 to 2 + 3, and back to 1 + 2.

Clearing the cmos might work as well.

I tried resetting cmos based on every different way, didnt do anything so I got a replacement MOBO coming in along with a replacement CPU incase the problem affected the CPU
