Hello everyone, I have a problems with my mobo sabertooth z77, I accidently turn on OC Tuner from BIOS and suddenly it shutdown and wont boot since yesterday, I can see the led green light from motherboard flashing or to be specific, Pulsing, like a heartbeat (i can hear the pulse sound also). I tried to re-place the cmos battery(3v) and move the jumper for 10min, but it still wont boot, just the pulse sound i can hear from my computer. I tried to use only 1 RAM and move jumper again, still wont work, I also tried to change the Graphic card and do the same thing. I need your help guys!, my computer is still new, i received it 2 days ago :(

here's my spec:

-i5 3570k

-gtx 680 msi twin frozr

-hyper 212 plus

-patriot viper 1866mhz 8GB

-Silverstone 600w (80+ white)

Have you tried resetting your PSU? It sounds like your motherboard tripped the self protect on it.
I dont think my power supply can be reset, only high end PSU can reset coz they have memory for diagnostic, my psu dont have memory so it wont reset

Ok. the only time i cant hear the pulse sound and the LED light not flashing (it just turn into green like normal), is when I move the jumper 2-3 and there's no sound or led flashing, but still wont boot
You moved the jumper and turned the computer on? I don't think you were supposed to do that... Did you follow the manual to reset the CMOS? Unplug PSU + hit the switch to off, remove cmos battery, jump the pin, wait around 15-30 seconds, put the pin back to the original position, put CMOS battery in, plug in PSU cable + turn the switch back to on, and turn on computer?

I knowm but that was accident, so I quickly turn off my psu, but that's the only thing that I don't hear pulse,

I tried to do that yesterday after my mobo won't boot after oc tuner was turned on.. But it won't boot, I saw the post that people wait for 3 days and it boot, should I wait for 3 days?? :(

There could be still power in the motherboard thats why its not resetting. Try to unplug psu cable and switch the power switch off and remove the CMOS battery and wait for 24 hours to see if that works.

Ok, finally when I reached home, i tried to turn on my computer... IT WORKS! and then I go to bios and reset the bios and change a bit (like ram frequency) and I can reset it like normal..

now the problem is, after I move my computer into my case (i put my mobo outside the case on is box) ofc I turn off PSU and re-place all the stuff again into my case.. when I turn on the PSU.. I can hear the pulse again and mobo wont boot... can it be the CMOS battery charging? this time i just leave it until now, didnt move jumper or CMOS

Problem solved, I've searched the entire internet and I found it, here's how:

-My problem is my mobo wont boot and theres a LED green light blinking with a sound sync at the same time

-I read that "try to remove all cables and ram on the mobo, just leave the 24pin connected and try to turn it on, if the led turn into solid green light, turn off PSU and put ram one by one (other stuff also, so you know which component is the problem"

-I tried all components on my mobo except cables on the back of I/O

-I put mouse, keyboard, all looks fine and solid green light still appear

-when I put my headphones (it have USB to take the power from USB mobo) the problem appear, Green LED blinking, wont boot, pulse sounds come.

-so I just put my headphones jack and put usb directly into electricity (you know, USB to Electric, like Blackberry charger) and my problem solved, now it boot normally and I reset my bios since I accidently turn on OC tuner

thanks for those give me advice on this thread! Thankyou so much! :)

It could be not getting enough power to boot thats why. Glad you solved the problem!
