So i have a mouse with a green led and i want to switch it with a blue one, i found out that both leds have different voltages and amps required thus will it still work?

Will the blue led not shine as bright since the pcb was made to only supply a green led which uses a bit less voltage then the blue one?

It depends on the type of green LED used but your best option would be to probe the voltage to see what it operates at. For green LED's due to the different types of elements used as it can range from 1.9V - 4V. Most will be withing the 3V range.

The optical sensor is the better question. Test if the sensor also react (enough) to green light.

Op is talking about the green LED on the top side of his mouse. This has nothing to do with the optical sensor.
