Need a MotherBoard? Whats good?

I'm making my first PC and the processor I have isn't compatible with the Motherboard i was going to get. Whats a good Motherboard?

(I'll be using this for gaming prominently, have an Intel i5 8600)

Did you already buy the processor or anything yet?

What budget/country anyways for everything?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I haven't bought it yet but I'm pretty set on this processor. I have everything else. Budget isn't really a problem, country is USA

Then there's no reason to buy that CPU

You can either save money or get more cores/threads with Ryzen, or just grab the i5 8400 if you're sticking to coffee lake, the 8600 won't be too much faster than the 8400.

hell the R7 1700 is like $220 even.
