Monitors- 75hz w/HDR or G-Sync 120hz no HDR?

Having a hard time making a decision from a 75hz with HDR monitor or G-Sync 120hz monitor with no HDR. Both monitors are 3440x1440

personally i'd go with the 120hz g-sync one, as hdr doesn't really speek to me louder than the high refresh-rate. which monitors are you looking at?

depends what your focus is on then I would say, if it's games then 120hz, if it's 4k movies and tv then HDR. That's what I would look at anyway.

Right now I am using the X34P and I am loving the 120hz but when I see games that have HDR option makes me wish I had HDR. There is an Acer 3440x1440 that uses adaptive sync 75hz with HDR that is about 400 dollars cheaper.

It's not worth the frame drop. I'd just keep what you have now until HDR drops in price in a couple years. No point in paying the early adopters tax for something that, really, won't be noticeable in a lot of titles.

Monitor HDR is all fake BS

 

G-sync is a waste of money

 

Just grab a likely cheaper Free-sync Variant.

 

Better yet go for a 40" 4K display instead.

Ya that's what I was leaning too I just wanted other opinions. I do see a noticeable difference in my K/D ratio when gaming.

I got it on Amazon its called Gerintech LED Desk Lamp Dimmable Table Lamp with Clock, USB Charging Port and Color Changing Base for Office or Study Desk, Touch Control 9 Light Choice

The lamp works very well and is decently brighter than I thought it would be, It does have 3 different levels of light and the bottom can change from 9 different colors. For a desk lamp I am satisfied. Its made of plastic but bigger than I thought it would be.  It also has a clock, date and temp reading on it that is powered by the plug but also has a battery back up in case the lamp does get unplugged.

Turns out Win10 build 1803 fixed HDR issues, hardware canucks just did a video about it.
