What upgrade does my rig need?

Hello,

I want to upgrade something of my pc but I'm not sure what to buy. I have about 300 dollars to spent. What component is the bottleneck?

I mainly use my pc for gaming (starcraft 2, AC4, and video editing with sony vegas). 

 

PC specifications:

 

CPU: Intel i7 3770 @3,4Ghz

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 550 ti

Storage: 1 GB WD Black + 120 GB Kingston HyperX SSD

MOBO: Asus P8H77-M LE

Memory: 2 x Kingston 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3 CL11

 

I'm not sure if I've forgot something,

A new GPU. A R9-280X would be good.

Case: Define R4 | GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780ti | PSU: Corsair CX600M | SSD: 250GB Samsung 840 EVO

You could always go for a new gpu like a 770 or something like that

Grab a 770 or a 280X. The 550Ti compared to those is like comparing a pea to a sirloin.

you said no budget, BUt best GPU today is GTX 780 TI, it have bad price/preformence ratio but if you are looking for the best so..

Definitely the graphics card, AMD prices are sky rocketing because of miners, so you might want to see if you can get an Nvidia equivalent for cheaper basically.

Buy a new GPU like the r9 280x or the gtx 770 and if you get more Money buy a cpu cooler.

Get a 770 if it fits in your budget. Or a 780 if you're very lucky(probably not)
