Hey guys, have a question, my iPhone X gets warm when using snapchat up to 92 degrees Fahrenheit, but it also gets up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit when using safari or facebook. Texting and phones calls can also increase the temp but not as much only u to 84 degrees.

It generally idles a degree or two more then room temp and charging it can warm up to even when not in use.

Already done all of the resetting and setup as new.

Also dont believe its a hardware issue as this my second X, and also happens on my spare iPhone 7....

If any of you have a thermometer to check the temp that would be awesome.

Thank you.

Do you shut down your programs after opening them? If not then your phone might just have a lot of its CPU used up constantly but the opened apps.

You don't need to do this with iOS because it has better background app management than Android.  It's one of the reasons iOS has better battery life and Android started immitating it with version 8 or so.

I have no problem with my Razer's battery life, after Android Oreo release especially.

My 7 Plus gets warm during facetime calls, in the Apple silicone case.  Moreso if I'm charging it while in facetime.
