Alienware Or Asus

After spending 50 hours of comparing and going through countless reviews, I still am confused which one to buy. On one side , I got ASUS GM501 and on the other side I got Alienware 17/15 R5    ( the one with i7 and 120 hz display and 1070 ). Both laptops have great design in their own rights and both have great performance ( even tho alienware's one is factory overclocked ). The main thing I am concerned about is definitely the thermals. As far as I know, Asus has the better cooling system, maybe best cooling system in its competition. I am not sure about Alienware's thermals as benchmark for i7 Alienware is nowhere to be found ( I only saw i9 and it has mixed review for thermals ).

A few questions:

1. Is light weight important to you?

2. Is battery life important to you?

 

If you want best thermals, avoid Alienware laptops and thin gaming laptops (unless you know how to properly tune them)
