Mouse laggy on display.

Hey everyone,

I have been running a dual display setup for a very long time. The type of monitor and resolution of them has all changed several times in the past. I recently re-did my set up with 2 4k monitors, it used to be 1 4k and 1 1080p. My mouse now seems laggy whenever I move it. I haven't tried gaming yet but I imagine it would be even worse. However I can't imagine my 2 980's (in SLI) struggling to push display to two 4k monitors that aren't gaming. Is this something I'll have to get used to or are there mouse settings or display settings I can adjust?

What cable are you using? A 980 on its own should run 2 4K monitors.

I'm using DP. These are Kingpin cards so they do need a converter from mini-DP to full-DP but I thought the same thing... Intel graphics can run 2 4k's.
