Compatibility Issue

I just replaced my PSU. I bought a Corsair RM750x 2018 model but it doesn't seem to fit with my NZXT 440 case.
Is there any way to work around this problem?

It should fit inside. Are you installing it properly?

The case has a screwed-in plate from behind (4 screws) that you need to remove and attach it to the power supply AND only then slide it in from behind.

that depends, why does it not fit, can you post pictures of what is the problem?

If that really doesn't fit it would be a shame for NZXT.

Because.. isn't the 440 a ATX Midi Tower?

 

When your NZXT 440 is new or the RM750x is new i would send/give it back and get someting else.

 

Or is not fitting with the PSU cables?

The H440 has a removable PSU bracket on thumb screws, and the PSU length is only 160mm (so not too long)

 

Step 1: Remove the four thumb screws holding the PSU bracket to the case

Step 2: Use provided screws in your case accessories to install the PSU to the PSU bracket. There should be four mounting points, some are off set  from eachother but should line up with screw threads on the back of the PSU.

Step 3: Install the PSU into the case, sliding the PSU through the opening and securing it to the case with the thumbscrews on the PSU bracket (reverse of step 1)

Thanks for the help. Didn’t notice I had to use a bracket in the heat of the moment, doh!
