Why exactly, would you get something as old as that when there's way better stuff out there?

Then buy the Ryzen 2200g if you're looking for cheap. That way you won't need to spend money on a fancy cooler. 

 

If you won't be gaming and will be doing workstation type work then sure, the FX perhaps.

No, it's trash, it's always been trash lol, It's impossible to cool and it will destroy most motherboards if not underclocked.

 

What's your budget/Country? Do you need an entire new PC? No current hardware?

I'd prefer to keep it about $1,000 US, but it's flexible. I need an entire new PC pretty much

Then an R7 1700 + RX 580 8GB and you should be fine

technically it's just a 8350 with an increased TDP and a higher stock clock, sort of experimental, wasn't really made for daily use but somehow AMD released it back in the day
