simple question what's the best coin to mine?

figured id put my gaming rig to use whilst I'm sleeping.

Pretty much none. You would want mining optimised hardware to get anything profitable. I'm talking 100's of Asic miners.

lol not true, maybe for bitcoin but ALT coins can easily be mined using the GPU.

yes but you do it in the hope the coin jumps. ETH used to be just like all the alt coints and now look at it, even lite coin, if you mine a coin worth a few cents or dollars a coin then then it rises to $100 per coin boom your in the money. 

 

you must not really know how this all works. tons of people make lots of money alt coin mining and holding them.
