Need some help with a motherboard upgrade.

I will soon be upgrading from an ATX h170 motherboard to an ITX z270 and new case.

I know how to disassemble and build my computer but i am unsure if i need to prepare or uninstall anything so my PC stays the same.

Please respond soon as my parts are expected to arrive within the next week.

Wait, why are you upgrading to a Z270 board? Why not Z370?

i can't afford to buy a new CPU along with the case and motherboard.
