TUF-Z370-Plus Memory

Go to solution Solved by Rainbow Dash,

Usually the motherboard manufacturers can't test every brand of RAM sticks on the market. But usually there isn't any compatibility issues with RAM, it's usually the speed that causes some issues. But since you have 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, that would work fine.

Okay so i'm swapping over to a 8700K build and a bundle on scan.co.uk comes with the CPU and motherboard.

Motherboard being the one in the title. My RAM at the moment is khx2400c15d4/4g (2 sticks) that I use in my AMD build. I am curious even though the RAM isn't listed as being officially supported (tested) what are the chances of the RAM not being compatible? I imagine the chances are slim... but just want some input from the community.

I figured this was the case, I wasn't sure if any rules have changed since moving from DDR3 to DDR4.

they can, but they don't want to spend money on testing and supporting other brands :)
