Setting up Dell R410

Hey Guys,

I am a noob when it comes to servers, and home hosting  but I just got my two Dell poweredge R410's and I am lost on how to setup the DRAC anyone have any experience in this?

So what do you want to do with the drac?

 

So setup the network with a ip and port selection, go to website, login, then you can do what you want.

But what do I use my Ip because its asking for and Ip, Gateway, Subnet and a DNS

subnet is the same all all other systems, probably a /24 at a home or 255.255.255.0

 

DNS is your local dns server or a public one like 1.1.1.1

 

Gateway is the same as all other systems, your router ip for a home network

 

IP is what ever your want it, must fit in subnet and not be used.

Well thanks and I am sorry i don't know my basic IP rules thats why I am hear if you have a link to basic IP rules I will galdy take it.

read something like this. If you want to know servers, you need to know this well.
