First, delete your 2nd post, secondly, I would recommend just doing a clean windows install or make a windows 7 installer to try and repair windows

Was the machine fully operational when you left it? Did you make any modifications before you started it back up for the first time?

None whatsoever (except Keyboard change).. Also, switched hard drive now it works fine
