(never know how to start these, so...) I'm looking for a new desk.

it needs to hold 3 monitors (one 30inch and 2 15inch) it needs to have ample room for a full-sized keyboard (with room to push it back when I stuff my face with take-out) it needs to also have rood for a Focusrite Scarlet audio interface and a pair of 8-10 inch studio monitors (if this is not possible I will use stands) I do not need any fancy features/designs, it should also be under $200.

thanks in advance!

If you have an Ikea I'd recommend to look for a solid core desk top such as a kitchen butcher block, since from what you've listed it sounds like a fair bit of weight.

I have never used any Ikea product, so this may sound dumb, but you're saying I can buy a tabletop and all legs, and just build it sorta custom?

Yes, that's pretty much how it works.

Could you build it yourself with glass, pine wood and chalk paint

I have built things myself, but this is something I want to enjoy, and it's kinda awkward to walk over to my friend's house to borrow his tools.

this looks nice, but I really just want an oversized flat rectangular desk, but I will keep it in the back of my mind!

at this point possibly look at carpenters and have a custom desk made. the only reason i say that is because you wouldn't want to risk any damage down the line from a failing desk and even if it isn't moved a lot it could still come loose. possibly look at high end business desks at places like staples, office depot or even amazon has some great deals. also if your feeling up to the challenge build your own desk. that's my plan here in the next few months.
