No it is not.

You can literally just overclock it manually yourself and save the money.

The regular version will boost higher than either of the cards rated speeds. So it’s pointless overall. Just keep the temps in check and it will do it by itself or just oc it a tad.

OC edition has higher clocks from the start and sometimes a VBIOS with higher power limit, but otherwise the same thing as non-OC edition. I dont mind buying the OC edition, only if it doesnt cost extra.
