Since they are different manufacturers the warranties and clock speed and cooling differs. But since they both run on the same chip they are almost the same.

Its hot, loud. Check prices on other models, r 270 and r9 270x. But if it is the cheapes of the lot, go for it. I saw MSI 7870 ghz go for 150$ with rebate tho. Pcpartpicker that is.

From what I've heard, XFX voltage locks their GPU's so if your wanting to overclock, you may be out of luck. I've only heard about them voltage locking 7900 and 200 series but it may also apply to 7800 series.

I would get the Sapphire one because the XFX cooler is loud and doesn't cool as well as the Sapphire one which won't allow you to overclock it.

You should be looking at the R9 270/270X. If you can't find an epic deal on a 7870, just get the updated version.
