I just recommended this to someone else, but checkout the NZXT Kraken. You can watercool your GPU with most watercooling systems if you use the Kraken and it should help.

This is coming from a guy who games in a room that is 43C on a good day, and gets idle temps in the low 30s high 20s.

For my CPU I am using the CORSAIR HYDRO SERIES H100i v2 AIO Liquid Cooler. My thought process is minimizing the amount of hot air that is hitting the components the better. I know it still has to go thru the rad, but it's seemed to work better for me thus far.

Watercooling a 1060 3GB?

To OP: What's your case and how is/are your fans set up? Maybe you have positive pressure in your case, making it harder for the hot air to escape.

Or maybe if your cables are cluttered you could tidy it up to improve airflow.

I mean, I personally wouldn't. I think his temps are well within reasonable. But if that particular temp is of concern, it's a good way to fix that given basic cooling procedures are being followed. (as is what you suggested with the airflow)
