My 1070 died on me a few months back, and i was not in a hurry, so lived with iGPU for one or two months.

You wont feel any difference in simple tasks - but you will be surprised as to what you can "Game".

 

Anything above windowed card games is basically a no go.

Yes, although that's the limit. Nvidia recently said it will be a "long time" before the next generation comes out though.

If you can afford 8700k, it's very likely you can afford something like a used 750 Ti or a 660.

@JoostinOnline yeah i know, but considering the gpu prices rn cause i was looking at the 1080ti, the asus strix in my area costs ~1050 USD and the cheapest ive found is around 850 USD (PALIT)

I concur, buying a cheap used older GPU, will give you ALOT more joy gaming wise, than trying to run off a iGPU, if you really want to wait to spend any real cash until next gen
