so, i bought a 780ti with the thought of overclocking it a bit. it's an Asus card with a DirectCU 2 cooler on it. 

 

can someone help me with that? i don't know where to start..

You basically set the power and temp limit to max and the start cranking up the core clock and memory clock slowly, and once you have instability, you either add more voltage or you decrease the core clock/memory clock a bit.

Power, voltage and fan to max. 

 

Get a good program like one of the unigine benchmarks. 

 

Step up the core by steps of 13. Keep going till it crashes or artifacts. 

 

Then work on the memory in steps of 25. Takes awhile to find out what’s too much on the memory though. I don’t bother with it most of the time. 

 

Mine are hard clocked as I don’t like gpu boost. But seeing where the card boosts to now is a good start. 

 

Then increasing power and voltage to max and see where it boosts too after that.
