Looking for gaming/study laptop

I'm looking for a laptop to use for university but I also want to be able to game on it.
The criteria I have are:

- the laptop needs to be portable

- it needs to have a good battery life

- a GTX 1060

 

I am currently considering the GIGABYTE Aero 15x or the GS65 Stealth THIN-051. Which of these two would be the beter for me?

The Aero 15x is a GTX 1070 laptop. The GTX 1060 variant is the Aero 15w. And the 15w looks ugly with the orange lining at the back.

 

In my opinion, get the GS65. Looks a lot prettier, and the webcam placement is better. Battery life is ~10% shorter than the Aero, but still really good.

 

Check the Razer Blade 15.6 and the Asus ROG Strix HERO II as well

So you're buying a laptop by its look? Battery life is around 25% shorter

Razer laptops are shit. Asus ROG Strix series is usually mediocre, however there are no reviews on the new model yet

Aero 15X. However both models need LM+undervolt as they have mediocre cooling. So buy from resellers that offers LM repaste service like GentechPC.
