Ncase M1 v5

ZeusXI

So im thinking of building the smallest system ive built yet for a friend, and hes out there saying he doesnt care about price and he came to me about the ncase m1 v5 and asked if i could do a build in it

He Plays

forza 3, witcher 3, shadow of mordor and the newer one (dont know it off the top of my head) dying light, star citizen, ark, alien isolation, and a few other big titles

He Does

mostly gaming, streams from time to time, does some video editing here and there

Case: Ncase M1 v5

GPU: GTX 1080 Hybrid or GTX 1070 Hybrid

RAM: 16gb or 32gb clocked at 2800 or higher

CPU: Ryzen 2600x or 2700x or 8700k (not sure cause ive seen videos with this on liquid getting reaallllyy hot)

Mobo: ASRock X470 Gaming-ITX/ac for ryzen, ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac for the intel

HDD: 1TB M.2 (wd. samsung, or intel)

The main question would be, would this case be good to build in with a hybrid cooler?

It's a great case. Is he looking to build now? The new DA2 case by Streacom also looks pretty cool, I think it comes out next month. Though if he wants a side window he'll have to go with the NCase.

Probably about the same if not more. Not sure, might be less, though I doubt it as their cases are very high quality.

You'd have to check which brand. They're not a standard size.

Though TBH I'm not sure if a liquid cooled card would fit.

the EVGA 1070/1080 Hybrid. so its like a stock founders edition, so the length, width, height is fine, im just wondering if there would be enough space between where the tubes come out, and where the side panel attaches.

You'd probably be best off sending NCase an email and asking them. I personally haven't seen those cards used in an NCase.

Nice, trying to go as small as possible and switching out my Bulldog 2.0 for the NCase M1.  Using my i7 8700K, 16GB, 240GB M.2, 1TB 2.5", EVGA GTX GTX 108o Ti Sc2 Hybrid.  I plan on putting two 120mm fans on the bottom.  Attempting to get a 80-92mm fan on the back.  This will shrink my system by over 6 liters, hopefully better cooling since the Bulldog is only a 92mm AIO, better build quality.

How long did it take you guys to get your cases?  I just ordered mine last night (shipping to NY).  What tools do I need to hang the 2.5" HD?

SFF Time N-ATX V2 - Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro WIFI - AMD Ryzen 9 5800X3D - Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090 - LG C2 OLED 42"

i took mine, about a week and half. Shipped to Michigan.

The Ncase m1 comes with the stuff already. just check out the website for the parts list and its self explanatory at that point :) very easy to fit 4 ssds in my case, but im only using 2 so i only needed the front mount
