Speed Does not equal Bandwidth.

You have a certain speed allotted by the company (your download and upload speeds) but your amount of bandwidth is limited to a household limit. When you start downloading and video stream you will notice lag and performance loss.

Well you could try using QOS to prioritize traffic on the router level.

70Mbps isn't *that* fast.  Steam can consume 300Mbps, so you're just maxing out your bandwidth and leaving none for youtube / twitch.  You can try traffic control / QoS to prioritize packets for those sites if your router / network card support it.

I know when i see some peoples, but as you can see, its pretty fast for the UK haha. Can you tell me or link me a video on how to use QoS? I have an Asus Rog Maximus VIII Hero!

Your mobo uses an Intel NIC which is a good product, but it doesn't have software on top of it like Killer does to do it's own QoS.  You'd have to check if your router supports it (it probably won't because QoS is an "advanced" feature).

Or you can install software like NetLimiter which can limit the bandwidth programs are allowed to use, so then you can set Steam to be capped at 50Mbps.

I mean yeah, if you're using up your current 70mbps on a steam download, then you're going to notice packet loss for certain applications.

You don't get 70mbps down for each application.
